Instructors and "Faddere"
Ground School instructor
The Ground School Instructor takes the students through a two day ground school course, and makes them ready to do their very first skydive.
To become a Ground School Instructor (Instructor 2/I2) in Norway, you need to have been a skydiver for minimum 2 years, have been an instructor in skydiving for at least 1 year, and completed a central skydive instructor course (B course) held by the Federation (F/NLF).
Our Ground School Instructors are very experienced instructors, that together with the Assistant Instructors and the AFF instructors make up the whole student training.

Assistan instructor
The Assistant Instructor is the assistent to the Ground School Instructor throughout the ground school course.
As an Assistant Instructor you will gain a better understanding of the student training, and might even fresh up your own knowledge. You will be in close dialogue with the Ground School Instructor, and you will get to know the students very well.
It is so much fun seeing one of your students in the plane the days and weeks after a course, and who knows - maybe you will be one of the first to skydive together with them when they gain their A license.
Do you wish to become an I3, you must have been an Assistant Instructor on minimum 2 complete ground school courses.

aff instructor
The AFF Instructors does the very first skydives together with the students.

Our AFF Instructors (Instructor 2-AFF/I2-AFF) has a lot of experience and several thousand jumps, and there is always an AFF Instructor available at the DZ when we are jumping.

"fadder" - buddy
The "Fadder" (Buddy) is together with the students the entire week the course runs, and gets to know the students very well, and help them get included in our sport.
As "Fadder" you are together with the students during Ground School, you get to high five them in the plane, you will meet them once they land, bring them along on things to do if weather days, and you help them make the bonfire at night. In other words - all the fun stuff.

Instructor 3 (I3) is the instructor that work the closest with the students together after they have completed their ground school.
As Instructor 3 you can Load Master students on level 8 and do check out jumps to A and B license. At the DZ the Instructor 3 is the student's go to guy when they have questions regarding skydiving.
To become an Instructor 3 in Norway, you need minimum 1 year of skydiving experience, have at least 200 jumps, have been the Assistant Instructor on 2 complete ground school courses, and completed a lokal instructor course (I3 course).
Our Instructor 3 are very active skydivers with a lot of experience and knowledge which they want to share with other skydivers.
